Each category gets a score of 1 through 5. A total score of 20 or above indicates a strong call. Scores between 15 and 19 indicate competence with room for improvement. Below 15 flags a call that needs direct coaching attention.

On three of the four calls, you notice the same pattern: Rep C does an excellent job qualifying the lead and gathering case details but never makes a clear close attempt. The calls end with “we'll be in touch” instead of “let's get you started with the retainer today.”
Now you have something actionable. The data identified the problem — low conversion. The call review identified the cause — missing close attempts. The coaching conversation writes itself: Rep C needs practice on transitioning from qualification to commitment.
Without the recordings, you would know Rep C converts below average. You might assume it is an effort issue, or a lead quality issue, or just chalk it up to personality differences. With the recordings, you know it is a specific, coachable skill gap. That distinction is the difference between vague feedback and targeted development.

Use peer examples, not just manager feedback. When one rep handles an objection particularly well, ask permission to share that clip (or a summary) with the team. “Here is how Sarah handled the 'I'm talking to other firms' objection last Tuesday” is more effective than any training manual.
