- Every insight requires a support ticket.The platform should be operable by a marketing director with standard analytical skills. If getting the answer to a basic question requires filing a request with the vendor's data team, you are paying for analytics services, not software.
- Integration that never fully connects.If one of your key vendors, your case management system, or your ad platform is still “in progress” at week eight, that gap will be there at month six. Incomplete data produces incomplete intelligence.
- No PI-specific defaults. A platform built for general businesses will not understand 6 to 18 month settlement cycles, cost-per-case as the primary metric, or intake conversion as a revenue function. If you are spending significant time configuring the platform to understand your business model, it was not built for PI.

Revenue intelligence surfaces the full picture faster than spreadsheets — but it does not compress the PI settlement cycle. You will not see complete settlement-level ROI data within 90 days for cases signed during the pilot. That data takes 12 to 18 months to mature.
